The D.C. Silhouettes, chartered on April 13, 1959,  have historically engaged in charitable work individually and collectively. The chapter remains committed to supporting the members of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., in their promotion of educational, cultural, social, and civic improvement within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.
